The day has finally come. We are leaving the cinder blocks behind! We are officially done with school! Tomorrow is the big day! I leave with the kids and Eric's mom on the plane and Eric and his dad head out in the car. I am very excited to be moving near family, friends and cheaper rent. (FYI, we will be living in Oregon City.) It's so hard to believe our two years in New York and six years on the East Coast are over. We have loved living out here and have met the best people. Hopefully some will make their way to Oregon for a visit. We really have had some great times and so many wonderful memories in New York. I am surprisingly going to miss it.
Here are some favorite highlights of these last two years!

Yay! Sounds like you have lots of fun ahead of you! Very exciting- and Congrats to Eric!
Wow - good luck on your trips out there. We hope to visit everyone in Oregon and Washington one of these days! Congrats to Dr. Eric!
congrats to you guys. on to another chapter in life. good luck on your trips out there.
Today was your big move day. I hope it all went well! Lauren was asking to play with Ella today! By the way, I am sorry I missed your birthday. I was gone but I didn't even know when it was. So happy late birthday! We miss you already.
My only regret about you leaving NY is that I never made it out to visit while you lived there! I guess that means you'll have to take me there someday and see what you remember.
I am SO EXCITED that you are on your way! In fact, you are probably heading to the airport right now. I am sending the kids some sleepy wishes and I hope the flight is smooth and uneventful. I hope they like their week in the "boonies" with gramma before daddy and grandpa make it to the west coast! We can't wait to see you guys!!!
Your cinder blocks make me laugh. We upgraded to bed coasters made of plastic that still raise it a good six inches, but at least they don't hurt your toe as bad if you stub it! ;) It sounds like your home in OR is plenty big, though...I don't storage is going to be an issue anymore. Nor are quarters for laundry! Hooray!!!
This is so exciting for you guys. I bet there were times when you thought this day seemed to be forever away. I have to admit that I am a bit jealous. You will have to let us know how Oregon is.
yeah for no more cinder blocks!! hope your flight went well.
