What can I say, I've been ___________. Fill with your choice: tired, busy, lazy, distracted, unpacking, playing, etc. I can't believe I left a picture of me without makeup or a decent outfit on my blog for so long! Where is my pride? Now that I've lost all my readers, here are posts-a-plenty!

So, we are here and officially moved in! I just love it! The weather, although turning soon has been perfect since we moved here. It might rain until May, but having July through October beautiful has been such a nice change from the East Coast humidity. It is getting chilly now and there's something about it that just brings me back to high school and going to football games. I love it! I have forgotten just how beautiful it is here. I love our house! It's actually fun to clean and organize because there's room to put everything. Did I just say that?

So, there's just one thing missing. A social life! I have none! How grateful to have a few friends kind of nearby or I would seriously be pathetic. Now I'm just a little pathetic. I have high hopes though, I'm a nice girl, someone is bound to think so too. (I hope!)

Eric is enjoying his office. He's still not sure what the future will hold or where we will be, but it's a great place for now. They have all been very welcoming. He is home by 5:10 most days. I love it!

Ella Update!

Ella Bella started kindergarten! Again, yes, but this time for real! She is loving it and I am loving it also. She starts at 8 and is home by 10:40am, leaving the rest of the day for us to do things. I can really tell a difference with her teacher. She is more on a kindergarten level than the last. Ella is doing a great job with her reading. She has a book sent home each night and she's really getting the hang of it. She already has "best friends" in her class and her teacher goes to our church and lives on our street! Ella is my girl with the memory. She still recalls things from our Maryland days. For her, leaving New York meant leaving her friends, but she has high hopes for a reunion in the future!

This fall, Ella is back in ballet and started swimming lessons. She loves both, but the swimming lessons were more of a requirement from me. Ella hates getting her face wet for anything. She can now blow bubbles in the pool which is a huge advancement from the beginning of the month. Her goal is to put her head underwater, but I'll be surprised if that happens any time soon.

Chloe Update!

Guilt for not posting sooner! Chloe Bug has had some big events! First, she turned 3! Hooray! I am hoping the terrible two stage will be older. She has mastered the temper tantrum and has the great ability to make you feel like you are talking to a wall. She is also very funny and the things she says cracks me up. Most of what she says sounds just like Ella! She loves her sister and copies most everything that she does. She had a great birthday with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, something she's never had before! Hooray for living close to family! We had a weekend of festivities with Chloe's birthday and Tyler's blessing.

Chloe is also recently potty trained!! I just get all excited about this! She has been teasing me with interest and then nothing for so long. Finally one day, it was all about wearing the underwear. She is doing a fabulous job and it's been so easy.

She is also in her first ballet class! She sits and watches the class for the first ten minutes or so and then joins in the last 20. She has been so excited to this. In December, the company puts on The Nutcracker, she will be one of the wooden soldiers! How cute is that!

Tyler Update!

He just gets cuter each day! He is a very easy baby as long as you are holding him! Some days I use the front pack, sling, and the backpack, just so I can get something done. I have to admit that I love it. He's my little koala! I know it's going to end soon enough and I won't be able to get him to settle down and cuddle with me. He just started on cereal and after just a short time loves it! The only thing that we need to work on the the sleeping. He doesn't pretty good with naps in the day, but at night is a different story. We had about two weeks of sleeping through the night and then he got a cold and that was that. I'm usually up two or three times a night. That is the same as when he was a newborn! Yes, just one reason to not be blogging. I am tired!

In August, I failed to blog about his blessing. He looked so handsome, but of course when it came time for the actually blessing he cried the entire time. It was sweet though and fun to have Eric's family there to share it with.
