Last weekend one of Eric's old BYU friends/roommate and his family made the trek across the country from Washington for a NYC family vacation. Seth oldest daughter, Karalee, has been fascinated by NYC and the Statue of Liberty for some time now so when the family was trying to decide on whether to go to Mexico or NYC for a vacation they thought now was the time to go to New York so they could see us! We were very excited to have them come, but the pressure was on to show them a good time. We packed a lot in the three days they were here. With dinner at Virgil's (Thanks Becky for the tip!), The Little Mermaid on Broadway(Everyone LOVED!), Statue of Liberty, Chinatown, Midtown, dinner at Lombardi's, Central Park in the pouring rain and after it cleared up, lunch and dessert at FAO Schwartz's, and then a Seth and Jenny date night to Hairspray while the girls played for hours at our house, I think it was a success! We loved having them here! Ella and Karalee were the best of friends! She will be six in June, but is about a foot taller than Ella! It was so cute to see them playing together. We are looking forward to seeing them more often once we are back in the Northwest, although our visits probably won't be as exciting!

i am glad you liked virgils --- cute pictures!!
I've been waiting for you to post pics and you didn't disappoint! SO cute! I just showed E and she said, "OH! How come they get to go there and I don't?" Good question! ;) It looks like y'all had a great time! I can't believe how big KaraLee is...she was about 3 the last time I saw her, I think. Yet, she looks just like herself..I could definitely tell it was her! FUN, FUN!
You're so lucky to get to see Broadway whenever you want. And that dessert.... I would come all the way to NYC for that too!
Sweet pics. I wish that we had the time and $$ to come see you guys too. Hope you are feeling good in these last few weeks!
