Ella on her way to the city for a great Daddy/Daughter Day!
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Jacobsen, Eric and Ella got great tickets for their brithdays to go see The Lion King on Broadway. Both were very excited.
Ella outside the theater.
Ella out on the town.
To be five and get to do the things she does!
Cheesecake stop to take home.
Home at last with cupcake from Juniors and her first Playbill. Sounds like the perfect day!

What a lucky girl (and daddy)! I bet she remembers it for a long long time. You do know the danger of exposing her to NYC at such a young age, and then moving to the West Coast, don't you? She's bound to break your heart by going to college at NYU or the like. But hey, at least you'd have someplace to stay!
I digress! What an excellent day! I'm so happy they got to do all that!
Did she eat the cupcake in one sitting?! Impressive frosting!
Its kind of scary to see how fast these kids are growing up!
So fun! What a lucky little gir!
That must go down as the best 5th birthday ever! So cute!
Lucky Girl and WOW, that is some cupcake! I'll warn you for what may happen after you move, because Sidney asks all the time .... things like, 'So when is it Easter again Mom and will we be rolling eggs at the White House again?' Ugh. You may have to buy a plane ticket to NY for Ella's 6th birthday....
What a fun day with dad! She is so grown up! Time flies too fast.
Any luck with the boy names? I'd love to hear any you are seriously considering!
she is so cute - what a fun way to spend your birthday!! lucky girl!
