Ahh, the Astoria Fighting Fishermen! Isn't that the best mascot? So fierce! This weekend is my 10 year high school reunion. It's hard to believe it's been that long already. I'm a little sad to miss out, but not enough to fly to Oregon. I am so relieved that it's here and all the planning is finally done. I didn't realize how much time I was going to be putting into this weekend. I have been working on it since January. I managed to find about 60 classmates and considering I graduated in a class of 110, that's not too bad. It has been fun to hear from people and find out what they've been up to these past years. I've had my own little reunion via emails which has been fun. Nothing like a small town high school where everyone knows each other! I really did have some great people in my class. I can't wait for the full detailed report on Sunday!
*Sorry, to disappoint and post no high school pictures of me. I don't have a scanner. Too bad!

Chrissy, that is such a big job, you are amazing! Love the mascot.
Go purple and gold! Makes me want to play AC/DC and drive a big truck.
They're now making car magnets of the Astoria Fishermen logo. All your friends will have lame ones like "Support Our Troops" but you can be TRULY cool. Maybe I could get you guys a set for the Pilot? 3 maybe, like one for each side and one for the back. Perhaps the hood too? :-)
Far above Columbia's waters
With it's waves of blue
Stands our noble alma mater
Glorious to view
Lift the chorus
Speed it onward
Praise her to the sky (aye, aye, aye)
Hail to thee, our alma mater
Hail Astoria High!
OK, I don't know what's scarier...the words of that song or the fact that I ever knew them...OR that I still remember them?!?
Good job on orchestrating your reunion from across the continent. Only a class pres like you could pull it off. ;)
i can't believe your class was only 110!!! i think ours was 800-something...
I can't believe Eric was a Fisherman how intimidating to other schools. I always could sense a fierceness from him around water.
