This post is brought to you by the number...

I have finally hit the single digits until my due date! We have 9 weeks left! I haven't been as faithful in remembering how far along I am with this pregnancy as with the other two, but now I'm counting down! Here's the update on how things are going:
  • I am feeling really great! Energy up and nesting has begun! (Which my house needed so very badly!)

  • I am measuring just two weeks big, down from four.

  • I stick out so much more than I ever did with the girls.

  • I've gained...well, let's just not go there!

  • My doctor said she would induce if I'm measuring at a 3 or 4 at 39-40 weeks! (This I've been worried about. She is known to have you wait a week or two (My poor friend Laurel!) after your due date and I have yet to go into labor naturally, even at a 4 or 5.)

  • We have not decided on a name yet and I don't have much hope in that area until he is actually born. I thought boy names would be easier, but we are struggling to even come up with names to go on our list. We have only two picked out so far; Tyler (Ty) or Ryan. What do you think?

Snow Fun

We finally got some good playing snow at our house this year. Once again it took Chloe some time to enjoy herself and even at the end she wouldn't walk in it. She did like sledding and standing in one place and throw snowballs. Ella had a blast and was everywhere. It was too fluffy for a snowman, but still lots of fun!

Not loving the snow! One lover of snow and one not so much!
Finally found a perfect spot!
Snow Angel
Snowball fight!

I caved!

I got voted out at the last family meeting and we finally got the dog everyone has wanted! I have to say it hasn't added any more work for me that I didn't already have! I would have said yes a lot earlier! She fits perfectly into our family! We do need to work on training her in some areas, but because Eric has always wanted a dog, he can be in charge of that!

A Day Trip

Last weekend I needed to get out of the house, so we decided to head up to Hyde Park, NY where we had visited before to see the Roosevelt Estate and Presidential Library. One thing we didn't get time to do last time was visit the Vanderbilt Mansion down the street. After seeing an episode of "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives", which featured the Everyready in Hyde Park, I decided it would make a perfect day trip. Do you see a pattern in what the Jacobsen's do? It seems to always revolve around places to eat and then the sights to see! Lunch was as fabulous as we hoped and the tour was very interesting. With snow coming down, there were only two other people on the tour which was nice. Interesting fact on the house, everything is the same as if the Vanderbilt's still own it. The niece sold the property to the government for $1 and left it completely furnished. Due to the snow falling and the excitement of our girls, the pictures were mostly about snowball fights!

New Look...Finally!

Thanks to my friend Amanda who linked a website for cute blogs I have finally made some much needed changes to my page! I knew it needed to be done when Eric said something about it. It's been almost a year since I started and took me this long to change. Maybe this next year I'll figure out how to do a cute header!

The 100th Day!

Tuesday was Ella's 100th day of Kindergarten. She was so excited for it and made a 100 piece puzzle poster for her project. Chloe was just as excited! 100 days of taking and picking up Ella is hard work and deserves a picture too!
