Ella's Day Off

Ella on her way to the city for a great Daddy/Daughter Day!

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Jacobsen, Eric and Ella got great tickets for their brithdays to go see The Lion King on Broadway. Both were very excited.

Ella outside the theater.

Ella out on the town.

To be five and get to do the things she does!

Cheesecake stop to take home.

Home at last with cupcake from Juniors and her first Playbill. Sounds like the perfect day!

The Day at the Museum

So, enough about the pregnancy and issues that I've had! Eric had the day off today so we headed to the city to explore The Museum of Natural History. It is absolutely freezing outside so once we got in, it was a perfect way to spend the afternoon.

Update

Here's the update from the last post. Everything is looking great! I do have extra fluid which is causing me to measure big, but it's not a huge amount. They called it a high normal. As for the pain I've had, all test came back normal. They're not quite sure what's the matter besides maybe the baby kicking me. The ultrasound tech told me I that I must be really feeling kicks because there's enough room for him to do back flips. Yes, indeed I am. He's quite the wild man already. So, although I'm still a bit uncomfortable, I'm so relieved that things look good and the baby's healthy!

BIG fun!

Went to the doctors for a test and came out with the doctor telling me to stay off my feet as much as I can until Thursday when they have me scheduled for an ultrasound to see what's going on. Guess who's 24 weeks along in her pregnancy and measuring 30 weeks? Lucky me. For those who think I just popped out all of a sudden, I did, in a BIG way. Hopefully it will either be extra fluid or a big baby and nothing else. This pregnancy has been one fun thing after another! Three kids sound like the perfect amount!

The Calm Before the Storm

Now that the holidays are over we are back to our everyday routine, which for blogging purposes isn't that exciting. But this month I think of it as my time to get prepared for the storm of change that is on the way. Problem is, there's too much to do so I get overwhelmed and do nothing! Helpful, right? I have visions of me organizing closets, packing things in storage that we won't use, cleaning out cupboards of things I don't want anymore, but then when it comes time to actually doing it, I get lost in the decision or too tired to get started. I'm not sure how everyone else is, but for me to organize I have to have a clean place to do it. That's has caused some of the problem. If I'm on the ball and actually clean my house or my kitchen is nice and neat, the last thing I want to do is mess it up again! So, I have become a lister! I list things that need to be done between now and April. Hopefully one day soon the nesting will kick in and I'll get something done!
